Welcome to Jennies Candles

Since Jennie made her first wedding candles for friends in 1990 she has seen her hobby grow into a full time family business with her candles and favours being used in ceremonies all over the world.

We specialise in personalised / bespoke candles for all occasions including Christenings / Baptisms, Naming Day Candles, Weddings, Anniversaries. Memorials.

We are constantly adding to our range of candle designs and favours. Within the last couple of years we have added to our Diamante and Rustic range as well as updating our Floral designs.

We also added Beeswax candles to our range. These candles are made available by another local candlemaker Pete of Rainbow candles.

As well as hand pouring and decorating our candles we also create all our own bases. The Glass and Diamante are proving very popular with many of the unity candles as well as the Floral Christening Candles for Girls. All our timber bases are hand turned by us in our work shop from sourced locally.

New to the bases this year is our bases for the lighting candles. Available in both the Glass and Timber designs.

What Jennie prides herself most on is that she is one of the very few craftspeople who specialise in personalised candles that still hand-makes and pours all of them in her own workshop, the only exception to this is the machine made lighting candles and they are manufactured to match her colours locally by Pete of Rainbow Candles in Dromahair. Even the favour candles are hand poured.

Jennies Candles was the first to specialise in personalising wedding candles as a business within Ireland and while there is many competitors in the business today we still remain one of the most innovative and competitive.

We are only located in Sligo town at 1 Doorly Park and viewing of candles is strictly by appointment.
